Accounts Payable Clerk

 We are seeking a qualified and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk 

to join our team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations by processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, reconciling statements, and helping ensure timely and accurate payments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, loves numbers and is committed to accuracy, strong communication, and continuous improvement. Schedule:  

Full-time  | Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  

Some overtime may be required.  

Location: Alaska 

What You’ll Do

  • Process vendor payments, including check runs, approvals, signatures, and mailing
  • Enter a high volume of invoices accurately and on time
  • Manage the A/P email account and follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Scan, print, match, and code invoices to the proper expense categories
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements and credit card statements
  • Research and resolve invoice, statement, and payment discrepancies
  • Track and follow up on vendor credits and credit memos
  • Maintain vendor files, W-9s, and new vendor setup documentation
  • Assist with month-end closing, audit requests, filing, scanning, and other administrative duties
  • Work closely with Parts Coordinators to identify invoice discrepancies and support accurate processing

What You’ll Bring

  • Prior experience in data entry or accounting in a fast-paced environment required
  • Accounts payable experience strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Alaska driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
