We are seeking a qualified and dependable Automotive Painter to join our team. In this role, you will prepare, refinish, and complete high-quality paint work that helps return vehicles to pre-accident condition, safely and professionally. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and committed to craftsmanship, consistency, and team success. Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Occasional overtime may be required.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and mask vehicles using OEM specifications and repair standards
  • Mix, blend, and apply paint and coatings with accuracy and consistency
  • Complete refinish work to company and industry quality standards
  • Inspect finished work to help ensure an excellent final product
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized paint work area
  • Monitor paint and prep supply inventory for maximum profitability
  • Help order materials as needed
  • Handle and dispose of paint materials and waste properly
  • Support team workflow and assist with other duties as needed

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Painter in a collision repair facility
  • Experience in a high-volume, DRP-driven shop preferred
  • I-CAR or other industry-related certifications preferred
  • Experience with Axalta Spies Hecker or other waterborne paint systems preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
  • Availability to work full-time with flexibility for occasional overtime
  • Willingness to wear proper PPE when required
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Valid Alaska driver’s license and clean driving record
